Wonderful B&b!
Well appointed and comfortable B&B which is very dog friendly. Owners very friendly and very accommodating. Stayed in room 1 which was bright and airy and although the shower room is a bit tight is was perfectly usable for us. Breakfast was hot and nicely cooked. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Lovely Place To Stay
We were warmly welcomed by Andrea and Daren and shown to our room which was very comfortable with lovely soft towels. It was the best night's sleep for my husband in a long time. The hospitality tray was fully stocked with a promise of more if needed.

Breakfast was excellent with local produce, and a choice of fruit, cereals and juices.

Cobblers Guest House is within easy walking distance of the Quay and local restaurants and has plenty of parking spaces.

We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Response from Hotel
Thanks Elizabeth for you kind feedback. We very much enjoyed you staying with us and hope to see you again in the future. Daren & Andrea

Perfect B&b
We would recommend The Cobblers as the perfect place to stay in Wells next the Sea. It’s an attractive old house just behind the quay with parking facilities on site. Andrea and Darren have recently taken over here and as well as being very welcoming hosts they’re very focussed on what guests would really like to see at a B&B. Bedrooms have been redecorated in a cosy but modern style. Guests (and their dogs) are also now able to use the charming flint walled garden and there’s a conservatory which was previously inaccessible. Breakfasts are served in a cheerful dining room where a varied choice of excellently cooked and locally sourced options are cooked to order.

I thought the room was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well laid out.

I liked having the choice of a variety of breakfast items at the buffet and the cooked breakfast was very tasty.

Darren and Andrea were polite and helpful, I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Set on the cliffs in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Sheringham is a challenging course for all golfers at all times of the year and has been the venue for 3 English Ladies' Championships. It was at Sheringham that Miss Joyce Wethered, later to become Lady Heathcote-Amory won her first championship at the age of 18. The course celebrated its centenary in 1991 and remains one of the most picturesque in the region - the view from the 5th tee is one of the most memorable in golf! The course is laid out on the west side of the town on a strip of rolling, gorse-clad clifftop that lies between the preserved North Norfolk Railway and the North Sea.

Distance 18.81 miles (30.1 km)
A pit stop for pilgrims over the centuries, with a recreated herb garden. The delightful village of Castle Acre boasts an extraordinary wealth of history and is a good example of Norman estate planning. Situated on the Peddars Way, Castle Acre was originally built as a fortified town, protected by its own banks, gateways and ditch. While the town provided for the material needs of the occupants of the castle, the Cluniac priory was built to cater for their spiritual requirements. Castle Acre Priory was inspired by the monastery at Cluny in France and was home to a community of monks until 1537, when Henry VIII disbanded all monastic houses. The village stands on the Pilgrim routes to Thetford, Bromholm Priory and Walsingham.
