Comfortable, Clean, Welcoming
Stayed the weekend at the Burleigh House, fantastic welcome from Steve and Julie. Lovely room with huge bed, recommend Room 8. Really clean, modern and good facilities including Marshmallows with your hot chocolate sachets in the room. Best breakfast in a UK hotel and we have stayed in many, good quality ingredients and fresh fruit! Again lovely, warm, welcoming, clean hotel, would recommend. If you like good food, have evening dinner across the road at the Seahorse and real ale in The Victoria also across the road. Double bonus.

Having stayed in LLandudno quite a few times I would like to recommend Burleigh House, we had room 3 it was lovely very spacious and its own sitting room, breakfast was really good and plenty to choose from that set you up for the day. The owners Steve and Julie were very nice and went out of their way to help you, so a big thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home and look forward to seeing you again in February.

Charming B&b
My boyfriend and I booked the Burleigh House B&B online because i liked the look of the rooms and it was very reasonably priced for it's location, but the photographs do not do this charming little B&B justice, the decor is exquisite, and the service and friendlyness is 5 star, upon arriving Julie gave us excellent information about the area and our only issue was that we hadn't booked two nights, as one night just isn't enough!

We are planning our next visit in November and I'm sure that won't be our last.

Cannot fault this hotel, clean, friendly and great value. If this was on TV - Four In A Bed it would certainly win without a doubt.

Burleigh House, Lovely Place
This is a really lovely, friendly, clean and modern guest house.Excellent facilities in room, very comfy room and linen and towels were pristine.Tray with tea, coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.Chocs on pillow were a nice '5 star' touch as were toiletries in room

.Info in guest book in room was invaluable. Very good location. Nothing was too much trouble. My husband has a wheat allergy and he was catered for with no problems. Great breakfast, plenty of choice and food was cooked to perfection. Steve and Julie were very knowledgable regarding gluten free dietary requirements and excellent hosts.

What A Pleasure
Julie and Steve could not have done more to make our first stay in the area any better. Their personalised service was brilliant and I haven't seen a better example of two more passionate people who want to make people welcome in their home. HIGHLY recommend, we will definitely be back!

Brilliant B&b, Brilliant Breakfast
I stayed at Burleigh House while on business in N Wales. Steve and Julie are very friendly and welcoming hosts who do everything to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. This included helping with the parking to advising which pub or restaurant to eat in.

The rooms are clean, bright and warm, while the free wi-fi was handy as well.As for the breakfast, I have had breakfast in many B&B's and hotels over the years and have to say it was one of the best I have had to date, the smoked salmon and poached eggs were delicious. Might have to go back sometime just for the breakfast..........

Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House - Museum

Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House - Museum

Distance 3.22 miles (5.15 km)
At the heart of Medieval Conwy stands Plas Mawr, the "Great Hall", built between 1576 and 1585 for the Welsh merchant, Robert Wynn. This richly decorated building is an architectural gem, possibly the best preserved Elizabethan townhouse in Great Britain. It dominates the town of Conwy with its gatehouse, stepped gables and lookout tower. This "worthy plentiful house" is especially noted for the quality and quantity of its ornamental plasterwork, now fully restored to its original splendour. Plas Mawr's authentic period atmosphere is further enhanced by furnishings, many original to the house, based on an inventory of the contents in 1665.The interior with its elaborately decorated plaster ceilings and fine wooden screens, reflects the wealth and influence of the Tudor gentry in Wales.
