Overwhelming Kindness
Not only is this place gorgeous, with high standards of food, cleanliness and comfort, but the people are so friendly and kind. My early morning flight was cancelled so not only did they pick me up from the airport but they also gave me a goodie bag of treats to keep me going till the next flight available in my old room. Above and beyond, ladies and gentlemen. Above and beyond!

"the Very Best B And B!"
Three of us stayed for a week in this excellent B and B. The location is central, the house spacious and beautifully decorated, the rooms pleasant and the beds extremely comfortable. There is generous hanging and drawer space and the whole place is immaculate- as clean as the proverbial new pin! Breakfasts were delicious, varied and perfectly prepared and presented.

Above all, though, was the welcome we received from Graham and Rachel. They really couldn't have been more friendly and helpful- cheerfully going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Heartily recommend to everyone- would go back in a heartbeat!

Hi Ross. We are adding a decked area to the lounge so that guests can sit out to enjoy our lovely weather. Our regards to Claire.

Excellent
Stayed here for one night in July and was very impressed. We had a very professional welcome to what has to be one of the best B&B that we have stayed in.

Rooms excellent and even although we were leaving before 6am the next morning we had tea, coffee, cereal, juice and toast all made available.

Will certainly when visiting the Isle of Lewis.

Many thanks Joe. You stayed in No 29 which being nearly 200 years old and with its exposed stonework is certainly quaint and quirky.

Clean, Recently Refurbished Throughout
Clean, recently refurbished throughout to a high standard and the location is ideal for access to the town centre and only a short walk to the ferry terminal. New lounge, communal living room and, on the 1st floor, there is a new coffee dock.

“comfy Rooms And Great Hospitality”
I stayed for a night and loved my comfy bed and cosy wee room. There is as much tea/coffee as you could want on the landing or, if like me you bring your own special tea, Graham is happy for you to use the kitchen facilities. He was very welcoming and went the extra mile to help me with my travel arrangements (thanks again for that!) and giving advice on the area. Great central location off the main road, so lovely and peaceful. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to others.

Stornoway Golf Club - Stornoway - Golf

Stornoway Golf Club - Stornoway - Golf

Distance 0.56 miles (0.9 km)
The 18 hole course is well designed and professionally maintained with panoramic views of Stornoway Harbour and the Minch. At only 5252 yards it may appear short by modern standards but there are plenty of hazards for wayward shots including mature trees, heather and gorse. Substantial investment in the last few years have led to on-course improvements - including a new drainage system - and a modernised clubhouse. Facilities include a golf shop with club and trolley hire, practice nets, chipping/bunker practice areas, putting green, locker rooms, and a licensed bar with light snacks. The Western Isles are a chain of islands off the north west coast of Scotland.

Stornoway Airport - Airport

Stornoway Airport - Airport

Distance 2.11 miles (3.37 km)
Stornoway Airport provides a key access point to the Western Isles, with flights from Inverness and Glasgow, and inter-island services to Benbecula and Barra. Located on the east coast of Lewis, a few miles from Stornoway, the airport also serves as a base for the search and rescue helicopter operated by HM Coastguard. Air traffic control at Stornoway provides important support services to aircraft flying to and from North America over Iceland. An increasing element of airport business is support services for oil exploration and development in the North Atlantic. There are ramp facilities at the entrance and staff are always available to assist. Requests for assistance should be made in the first instance to the relevant airline.
